How does DrugWipe® work?
When a person abuses drugs, the body metabolizes and excretes the drugs through the endocrine glands (saliva and sweat), which causes drug abusers to leave behind an invisible trail of drug residue on everyday items that they touch, such as cell phones, wallets, keys, door handles, sunglasses, backpacks, clothing, keyboards, steering wheels, etc.

A simple wiping motion on the area to be tested (surface, saliva or sweat), causes invisible drug molecules to collect onto the sampling pad. Water from the absorbent strip then carries the drug molecules into the test cassette where antibodies bind to the drug molecules to show either a positive or negative result in the test window.
Product use training, instructions and support for DrugWipe® surface testing are included with the purchase of DrugWipe®. Sweat and saliva testing can be performed by law enforcement officers or those certified and trained to use DrugWipe®. Contact IDDSS for more information.
How accurate is DrugWipe®?
DrugWipe® precisely and accurately detects drug antibodies present in invisible drug residue to the nanogram level. This sensitivity is equivalent to a table spoon of sugar dissolved in an Olympic sized swimming pool.
